My name is Rebecca and Couch Detective began with my desire to do more with my true crime obsession than scare my husband.

Couch Detective is a mixture of reviews on true crime books, podcasts, and documentaries, and my thoughts on current cases, cold cases, and newsworthy crimes. I am not an actual detective, nor do I play one on TV, but I do have a passion for researching all things true crime.

When I’m not reading, listening to, or watching true crime (which isn’t often) you can find me napping, drinking coffee, or playing with my dog.
